How do I get the best identification?

Place the coin on a plain, non-reflective background in soft, even light. Fill the frame, keep it sharp, and photograph both the front (obverse) and back (reverse). Avoid flash glare on proof or shiny coins.

The app identified my coin incorrectly.

On the result, tap Re-identify with Advanced AI for a second opinion from a stronger model, or report what is wrong. Corrections help improve future results. Rare varieties and errors (such as doubled dies) can be very subtle — treat them as hints and confirm with a specialist.

Is the value accurate?

Values are estimates by grade from catalog data and recent market listings, or an AI estimate when no data exists (clearly labeled). Condition matters enormously. For valuable coins, get a professional opinion before selling.

How much does it cost?

How do I cancel my subscription?

On your iPhone open Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions → CoinTrove, then tap Cancel Subscription. Or visit apps.apple.com/account/subscriptions. Cancel at least 24 hours before renewal. Deleting the app does not cancel the subscription.

How do I get a refund?

Apple handles all payments and refunds. Request one at reportaproblem.apple.com.

I paid but Pro isn't unlocked / I got a new iPhone.

Open the paywall or Settings and tap Restore Purchases while signed in with the same Apple Account you subscribed with.

Where is my collection stored?

On your iPhone only (included in your iCloud device backup if enabled). Deleting the app deletes your collection.

How do I delete my data?

In the app go to Settings → Delete Account & Data. This removes your data from our servers. See the Privacy Policy for details.

Which coins are supported?

US coins from pennies to silver dollars are the focus, plus thousands of world coins. Tokens, medals and ancient coins may be identified with lower accuracy.
